There was a small turtle. She was very slow. The other animals could run fast. The turtle could not run fast. One day, there was a race. The turtle wanted to try, even though she was slow. The rabbit laughed and said, "You will never win!" The turtle said, "Maybe not, but I will try my best." The race started. The turtle walked and walked, slowly but surely. The rabbit ran fast, then stopped to rest under a tree and fell asleep. The turtle walked past the sleeping rabbit and crossed the finish line first! Everyone cheered for the turtle.
